As a writer and author, the editing of Going Global – Building a world-wide branded business has, for me, been both an eye-opener and a very interesting assignment. Having worked with author Kerry Paul on his earlier book of family history, I was aware of his intense energy, his drive to get projects moving, and his multifaceted approach to whatever he sets his mind to. And he has certainly used all those considerable skills in putting together the broad range of information and detail necessary to fully describe just how to go about building a business from a standing start to become a significant player in world markets. More remarkably, he shows how it can be done in less than a decade. The story of Kerry’s Manuka Health business and its astoundingly rapid international success is widely known. Now, in this book, he provides step-by-step detail of what to do – and what not to do – in establishing a business, the selection of personnel at all levels to make it work properly, the processes involved in marketing, branding, rapid and reliable production and supply of products, taking it all to the international stage, and how to cope with competition. It is a publication which will not just appeal, but will also be of substantial value, to others contemplating or who are already on the road to going global with a business. This story of the Manuka Health range of goods, which began from very modest operations in Te Awamutu and in less than 10 years became sought-after products world-wide, is both fascinatingly informative and a powerful guide that may well become a standard reference on the correct methods necessary to build and run a successful international business.

The book brilliantly presents step-by-step guidance on building a global business in less than a decade, it is truly remarkable and invaluable. From personnel selection to marketing, branding, production, and global expansion, every aspect is meticulously covered, making this book an indispensable resource for both aspiring and established entrepreneurs. The tale of Manuka Health's rapid rise from humble beginnings to global prominence is not only captivating, but also serves as an inspirational blueprint for anyone looking to succeed on the international stage.
I have read literally hundreds of bussiness books, and yours is far the best laid out and organised book I have seen. Written by someone who has actually been there and not by some academic. Good job!
